Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
NeuraSaMu ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at neurasamu.com. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short because we collect very little.
Information We Collect
We do not require accounts, do not track visitors across sites, and do not sell data to third parties. The information we may collect falls into three categories:
- Voluntary submissions — when you email us or submit a contact form, we receive the information you send (name, email, message content).
- Aggregate analytics — we use privacy-friendly analytics to count page visits and understand which research pages are viewed. This data is anonymized and does not identify you.
- Server logs — our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) may log standard request metadata such as IP address and user agent. We do not access these logs for marketing or tracking purposes.
How We Use Information
We use the information you provide solely to respond to your inquiry, review partnership or fellowship applications, and improve the clarity and usefulness of our published research. We do not use your information for advertising.
Third-Party Services
The website loads Google Fonts for typography and, on some pages, external JavaScript libraries. These services may receive standard request metadata as part of normal browser behavior. We do not integrate advertising networks, tracking pixels, or social media embeds that profile visitors.
Data Retention
Email correspondence is retained as long as it is needed for the purpose it was submitted. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form and does not identify individuals.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of any information you have submitted by emailing us. We will honor the request unless we are required to retain the information by law.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a revised date.
